The bottom line is that it's still in pre-production and what we're seeing now are all "elements" of real/finished gameplay. If I'm interpreting your logic correctly it sounds like you might be expecting a VR perspective or "thinking" that that's what SNE owners want or think this game is and it's a bit off target if I may be so bold as to speak for the PSNAtion.

And, I believe that this game will be an absolute beast to handle come TGS. More development time on this puppy? Wow means one step closer to a GOTY '08 nominee in my opinion.
